Too funny! Hope they are in the backyard. In Summer School we are talking about camping today. This picture is very timely for my refugee students. Love it.
Must be backyard camping. I see the garden fence and electric poles….but wouldn’t children have a wonderful experience doing this today.
I woke up with my usual morning aches and pains and reached for my iPad and checked Hencam first thing. First I saw Buffy all by herself looking good and facing her day with maybe her old hen stiffness and achiness, yet with the positive, accepting attitude I think animals have–and then I found that incomparable “chicken goes camping” photo! This has got to be one of the best photos I’ve seen ever!! Whatever this day brings, I had the best start after seeing these two things. Happy summer! Thanks!
OK..What the heck? I wonder what was going on in that photo! “Let’s pitch a tent!”…”Quick! Grab the dog and go in the tent!” “MOM! I wanna hold something in the picture tooooooooo!” “OK..just grab a chicken sweetie…there you go..that looks good…..now hold that pose!!!!!!”
Hah! And of course, back then you had to stay very still to have the photo taken.
Oh, I would love to take my girls on holiday with me. Sadly, my husband is not so keen on the idea :) x
