It was dreary, damp, sweater-weather this morning.
What was needed was a little lamb love.
And goat joy.
It worked! I do believe that the sun is coming out.

You have the coolest collection of vintage items!! Thank you for sharing them!
That lamb looks half cut. (do you even have that expression? Pie-eyed. Well-oiled etc etc)
Do not know that expression. Now I do – very useful as I pour another glass of sangria!
“Goat joy”! THAT’S why I feel better after seeing your pictures of Pip & Caper! :-)
And that’s exactly how I feel about living with them :)
Your sunny day pail is just lovely. I would love more vintage items in my yard. Now all we need is a little sun, enough of this dreary, rainy weather already!
What a great vintage item!!
The Vintage Hen
Love chickens? Love vintage? Combine the two and that’s what you’ll find here. You might also find quirky, crafty, retro and recipes. And maybe something fun with a rabbit on it. Or a goat. It’s that sort of blog.
I’ve written about most of the issues that arise in backyard flocks. I’ve written FAQs to answer the most commonly asked questions. If the answer you seek isn’t in a FAQ, there’s a wealth of useful information on my website archives, which is easily searchable – simply type the topic into the box.
