There’s still time to signup for the Chicken Garden Party here at Little Pond Farm. It’s this coming Saturday, July 12 at 1 pm. I’ll talk a bit about gardening with chickens, and then we’ll mingle and stroll. We’ll talk poultry, you can share photos of your own flocks. There will be food and good conversation about our favorite topic – hens!

I wish I could! It is the fate of every nurse to work the occasional weekend & that’s mine! Have a wonderful time. I hope you do it again in the fall or next year.

I would love to come and it’s within driving distance from Vermont, but my five sisters and I are have a “Sister’s Weekend” this coming weekend in Vermont – first time ever! Should be fun, interesting and probably at times maddening. All to be expected when six adult (middle age to wise old crone age) sisters get together lol.

I wish I could be there Terry! Sounds like fun. If you do this annually, I would love to plan a trip next year to come up there from FL. I would enjoy exploring your small town and seeing the Little Pond Farm and of course, meeting you =) I’ve never been to MA. Can’t wait to see pics of the event.
PS Your Delaware is quite the character and beautiful pic. I watch her on the BarnCam push other hens out of their nest so she can have it to lay her egg…. LOL!
The Delaware, Opal, is mild mannered, but does just go where she wants :)
Very envious of the people who will be able to come to your “Garden Party”. I live in the UK so it is something I would never be able to do (like a lot of your other blog followers I expect). Never mind it is still lovely to take part, from a distance, in your daily life and hen (horse, goat, dog) keeping adventures. It is very enjoyable, a truely lovely place to virtually go. Again, like many other like -minded people, I appreciate your blog and your knowledge and thank you for sharing this. Hope the day goes well and, as well as everyone else has said, look forward to hearing all about it. Very best wishes.
