Candy looks like Dirty Harry….Go ahead, make my day!
OH MY! I want a bunny too when I get my chickens, have you had Candy since she was a baby? When did you put her and chickens together?
candy makes me want a bunny again. she’s so freaking adorable! plus compost worms love, love, love bunny poop, right? so many reasons to have a bunny :)
Adorable. As always, the queen of the coop, star of the show!
Now I can’t wait to see your Happy Photo of the day! This one makes me grin from ear to ear! Speaking of ears, I hope your recovery is a smooth and pleasant one!
Oh Candy – you are so very cute. Just look at that lovely winter coat and puffy cheeks! And I do believe I also detect some seriously long eyelashes.
One of the pet stores by me gives you a bunny if you buy a bag of food…..makes me want one! Wonder how the bunny and a guinea hen would get along? BTW Terry..the guinea hen is a hoot and is here to stay…hangs out with the chickens! Hope you are doing well..you are on in my thougths!
If that isn’t a picture for the Disapproving Rabbits web site I don’t know what is. We should make up captions for the Daily Happy Photo. It is a bit early for me to be cleaver. Let me think…..
I hope all is still going well Terry. Thinking of you. Take care.
so cute!!!!!!!!!!
Soo glad to see you feel up to posting pictures and updates. You are awesome! Hang in there!
Look at that little bunny face! Chubby cheeks!
Hope you are healing well Terry. Candy looks like she’s wearing pink lipstick! Am currently watching her sitting at the bottom of the hen’s ramp – as if she’s daring them to move her! Sweet girl.
Gotta love those bunny lips:) I love when I catch one of my girls yawning..their little pink bunny mouth & shiny white teeth :)
I just love Candy’s face! She is really cute. I would love to kiss her soft lips!
Beautiful girl!!! :>)
Little adorable bunnytuide from Miss Candy!!
How sweet! I love chickens and rabbits but having them both of them together in the same photo is the best! great picture today!
It looks like Candy’s trying to say something. Perhaps she wanted to pose by herself but had company instead.
Love this photo! I’ve been away for a couple of days. Needless to say, a lot has changed for you while I was gone. I’m glad to know that you are being well taken care of by Steve and Scooter, and your spirits are happy enough to post these great pics! Sending good thoughts for a fast recovery. I’m so excited that you’ll eventually be able to hear in stereo!
I’m hoping that you are well on the road to recovery from your surgeries.
Candy and Chickie Girl are the cutest. When I had angora sisters in the house they were quite friendly with our little cockatiel, enough that they would nibble on his tail feathers. Candy looks so squeezable!

I’ve kept a backyard flock for two decades and I’ve spent years researching chicken care and observing hens. I blogged about my life with chickens and what I’ve learned here for ten years. If you’re looking for advice about a specific issue, you’ll likely find the answer in an FAQ or by doing a blog archive search.
