I recently did a Skype visit to a classroom in Wisconsin from the Big Barn. Those students know my chickens! Yesterday, I got a packet of letters from them. By far the most popular hen to draw was Siouxsie. Here are a few of the portraits:

Siouxsie’s the “comeback hen story”! I was happy to hear she got a reprieve. Love those pictures from the class, anyone would make a terrific T shirt design.
What a treasure you have in those drawings. I’d have them framed in one large frame and hang them up. Siouxsie has grabbed my heart. She seems to be spending her days inside hiding and now not even sleeping with the other girls. Of course Buffy seems to be a different chicken since Siouxie was moved. They pretty much act like us human hens do sometimes.
I love artwork by children! I think a Siouxsie t-shirt would be fun, too. Maybe t-shirts for Team Buffy or Team Siouxsie. I pray you can find a publisher. As a pre-k teacher I can tell you that plenty of bad books get published and I am always looking for quality. You are true quality and I thank you for that.
