It’s not true that goats eat tin cans, however, they do like labels and the glue that they’re pasted on with!
Comments:
Maybe they’ll eat everything “butt” the tin can!
You’re in the spirit! :)
That’s one skinny goat. He should live at Little Pond Farm with your boys. How did your boys know it wasn’t time to start shedding their winter coats?
Ah, the mysteries of all-knowing goats! :)
I loved these old Valentines. I spent hours, after receiving them from other classmates, looking at them when I got home from school. My favorites were the ones with animals and glitter on them. This looks like one I would have prized as one of the best. So colorful and whimsical. What a great piece of history. Do they still have these little Valentines for the kids? Do kids still give them out? If not, what a shame they have to miss it.
Most of the valentines are licensed characters, like from movies like Cars. Not half as whimsical as ones that we got.
The Vintage Hen
Love chickens? Love vintage? Combine the two and that’s what you’ll find here. You might also find quirky, crafty, retro and recipes. And maybe something fun with a rabbit on it. Or a goat. It’s that sort of blog.
I’ve written about most of the issues that arise in backyard flocks. I’ve written FAQs to answer the most commonly asked questions. If the answer you seek isn’t in a FAQ, there’s a wealth of useful information on my website archives, which is easily searchable – simply type the topic into the box.
