WOW! Gorgeous…..
Breathtaking photos, thanks for sharing.
Beautiful flowers. Your pictures are always so pretty. What are you shooting with?
Are these all perennials? I would love to know the names of the third and fourth from the top.
Terry,
Here is a ‘chicken story’ from Canada. We are brand new chicken keepers with four young Buff Orpingtons(?) raised from tiny chicks. They are now seven weeks old. We call one of them Golda – because she has beautiful yellow feet and beak. The others all have pinkish white feet. Why? We checked online and we think that Golda is a Buff Rock! Or maybe even a Buff Rock/Buff Orpington cross. Very interesting!
Golda behaves differently – is very hardworking – digs pits, catches more bugs and, we think, is ‘head hen’.
Do the other three hens realize that she is ‘different’?
We love your flowers and very much enjoy your new web design.
I’ve always wanted a Buff Rock! I’m sure your hens recognize the difference.
Just beautiful! What an assortment of fresh blooms. You even managed to get wild-life in the pic. Very nice.
HenBlog
I’ve kept a backyard flock for two decades and I’ve spent years researching chicken care and observing hens. I blogged about my life with chickens and what I’ve learned here for ten years. If you’re looking for advice about a specific issue, you’ll likely find the answer in an FAQ or by doing a blog archive search.
