I'll be talking about chick selection and chick care at the Chelmsford Agway on Saturday, Feb 16. The workshop is at 11 and there will be time afterwards for Q & A about all things chicken.
I'll be doing four free Skype visits at schools from California to New Hampshire to celebrate WRAD. This year, I'll be reading Tillie Lays an Egg while sitting amongst the Gems. Chaos? Likely. Fun? Definitely. Watch on the BarnCam. The first Skype visit will be at 11 am EST, the last at 2:30 pm.

I'll be bringing a hen to the Concord Library for this storytime. It's part of the Concord Reads About Farming And Food program in concert with the Concord Museum's exhibit, The Greatest Source of Wealth: Agriculture in Concord.
I'll be talking to a group of educators about what makes an engaging storytime, and how to go use a picture book as a jump-off for learning and writing. I'll be bringing a chicken as an assistant!
