I’ll be at the Verrill Farm Asparagus Festival. This family working farm in Concord, MA, has nurtured their asparagus beds for generations. The granddaughter of the man who planted the asparagus is a talented chef who works in the farmstand’s kitchen. I’ll be at Verrill Farm to help celebrate the harvest and the coming growing season. Look for me, and one of my hens, at the entrance to the farmstand. There is a fee for the asparagus lunch (and well worth it!) but you don’t have to pay to meet one of my hens and chat about chickens.  All of my books will be available for sale and signing. Stop by!
